Cover art for Duel of Meloch board game. Third standalone board game set in my 1920+ world.
" Captain's Log. Year 1927, month unknown, location unknown. With great effort we managed to stop Dr. Tarkowski, the energy vortex in Siberia has been closed! Since then, however, I feel inwardly anxious, feel a sense of the presence of something sinister, something ancient. I try not to think about it, but the anxiety does not disappear, and at night I'm visited by nightmares and strange visions. In Tarkowski's camp we found many ancient manuscripts describing dark rituals and mentions of some powerful being called Mel-oh or Meloch. As well as a mysterious, otherworldly artifact powered by the cosmic energy of a meteorite. It made it possible to travel through ancient portals to the two remaining temples dedicated to the dark cult of Meloch. It took us to unknown, exotic lands that we knew only from stories and books... Meloch was waking up. We had to stop it from bringing cosmic horror back upon our world. However, this challenge turned out to be much more difficult and dangerous than I could ever have imagined! Meloch’s influence on the reality around us, as well as on our minds and actions, was becoming increasingly evident. He haunts me in my dreams and draws me to him. I’m trying to stay sane, but with each passing day of our journey, it’s getting harder and harder. I must destroy him before I lose my sanity and my own will! "
