Captain's logbook, June 10, 1925.
It's a warm, foggy June morning. We have just arrived at our campsite. Most of our crew members were already there, preparing our mech in advance and adapting it to the needs of our expedition, replenishing supplies and fuel. People are in a good mood and rested. If nothing unexpected happens, tomorrow we will follow in the footsteps of Dr. Tarkowski, to the site of the meteorite impact. I feel excited and a little anxious at the same time. We are well prepared.
